Cataract Symptoms
Cataracts are clouding changes to the natural lenses inside your eyes behind your pupils.
They often start to form in your 60’s or 70’s however they are slow to mature and are typically removed in your 70’s to 80’s or possibly later. Occasionally cataracts can form earlier in life requiring treatment in your 40’s or 50’s.
The formation of cataracts can results in symptoms such as blurred vision or a feeling of a film over your vision. There also may be an increased sensitivity to glare especially at night. There are no symptoms of pain or redness.
